Post by Warren7 »

Picking up a flushed bootlid later, just wondering what you guys have done with your number plates?

Cheers!

Most just stick it on where it usually sits or in the back window
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Yeah I've seen a few people with gay square ones hanging off the bumper and it looks a bit silly lol. I'll figure something out I'm sure

The other thing ya can do is rewire a number plate light to the bumper and put the plate in the centre of that instead
If it ain't green and black send it back :D

The square plate on the bumper looks ok imo if it's a decent bracket, looks daft if it's a big bracket that makes it sit out
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Yeah if it's done right it looks fine! I'm looking for as OEM as possible. Might even fabricate something in the rear bumper, like a kind of recess for it to sit in. We shall see!

Just picked it up btw... £20! I was gonna pay that for a spoiler that was local, ended up getting a flushed boot too lol

It has one if them opener things on it, boot popper? Just have to wire it up to a switch. It's not my daily car so won't be too much hassle and won't be using the boot that much!

Did you get a remote for the popper?
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

They go off a remote, press the botton on the fob and it opens

Not sure if they can be wired to a switch, I'll try find out tomorrow
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway
