Hi I need help. I have a 1.4 litre opel moter made in 1996. To change water pump and other mainternance I need to remove engine pulley. Not sure which way to undo bolt and also the tension when I retighten it.Engine pulley removal 1.4litre 1996

Hi I need help. I have a 1.4 litre opel moter made in 1996. To change water pump and other mainternance I need to remove engine pulley. Not sure which way to undo bolt and also the tension when I retighten it.-

Turn it left if that's what you mean and re tightening just tighten till the belt only turns about 90 degrees
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway
