Tbh I wish I was driving when the escorts Sierras mantas old box civics and box corollas novas and so many more were widely available 80s-early 90s cars were just the best

There's no new cars that I'd have over a manta 400 or MKII escort rs2000 or Sierra cosworth

I had 2 sierra's, 1hatch and 1 saffire, I had an E30 325i Sport, an ae86 Corolla Coupe, but tbh the sierra's were the best!

I've grown up around ae86's if they were fast they'd be awesome but yet there's no car guy I know over 30 that doesn't have one in a shed there just an iconic car

Yea great car, but not for everyday driving! I bought mine as an everyday car back in '98 before they got to silly money!! But not fast as you say.

My favourite car that I've owned so far was the "box civic" as you mentioned.

Excuse the quality of the pic, the camera phones in '04 weren't that great lol.

It was only a 1.4, but that fastest 1.4 I've ever had! 1.4 single cam 16v dual side draught carbs as standard! I did a qtr mile drag with a 1.8 Focus and only lost by two car lengths!!

It managed to fill the clock at 120! On a private road of course

Fantastic handling car as well!

The box civic was a really good Car, I'm death on civics but the way it was made was just awesome, I've only driven One once but it just hooked me
