Lowering springs

Post by stanc3w0rks »

Hi just wondering if anyone is using lowering springs over 40mm on standard shocks? If so is there any problems? And i found a cheap set of springs that are 75/50mm but it dosen't specify which is which, so would i be right in assuming that it's 75mm rear and 50mm front? Thanks

75 front 50 rear and you'd need shortened shocks otherwise the ride will be solid over bumps but boaty in the bends and it'll bust the shocks just for fun, even 40 on standard shocks is horrible to drive

But tbh for the price of shock/spring setup you could buy jom or prosport coilovers
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

I've had 40's on standard shocks and thought the drive was fine tbh! Anything lower than that I've usually bought a full package though

Thanks. I might just go 40 to start with and then coilovers :) trying to get a deposit down for insurance first though :(
