As it stands they are in the car now but the wiring is doing me in a little
vectra visors ive got ive got the loom which run either side of the visor. end of the loom there is a spade connector or two one for either side i cant remember of my head.. is this at all possible to attach the spades to the interior light fixing if possible. or does it need to be attached to the live wire
red wire from interior light is the live but sure my toad alarm is attached to this
ive looked at the diagram on other sites but they seem to cut the spades of the loom

I think your right, just attach to the red wire from interior light. It shouldn't affect the alarm unless you've left them on

Re: illumanted visors
Is the red not a switched live? So they'd only work if the interior light is on
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

It's a switched ground so yeah you can splice the red and they'll be fused and just a rocker switch

Re: illumanted visors
Well the visors only "switch on" when you lift or slide the mirror cover, so there should be no need for any further switches
