Illuminated visors

Post by stanc3w0rks »

Hi, ordering a pair of illuminated calibra visors today and just wondering how hard it is to fit them? I know i wire them to the live on the interior light, (is that red or green?) But should i cut the connectors off the wores on the visors? Also can i join the wires of the visors together and then to the interior light. Should i remove the roof lining? Any help is greatly appreciated thanks :)

ive just done this on my car

are you getting the loom with the visors if so this is what i did

1.take the interior light out unclip both wires RED is the live one
2.fit the visors including running the loom either side of the car (headlining pull it down a little at the front enough to feed the wire across)
3. Dont forget to clip the loom in at the visor too
4. The visor loom should now be in the middle of the car there will be a earth wire and a femaile spade connector
5.This is how i did it get a little wire then i got a snap lock connector what you attach to the interior light live. then with your spare bit of wire that goes into the snap lock connector too. put a spade connector on the other end of the loose wire fit to the sunvisor loom. attach the earth there is a hole up there to do this.
6. check to see if the lights come on.

walla all done clip everything back in place job done
