electric power steering is still the same principal, you will need to replace the whole rack with a PAS one, and instead of having a mechanical PAS pump, its electrical...
tbh will be easier to fit regular PAS as all the parts are available for it, if your gona use electrical PAS, you will need to get some parts fabricated so increasing cost

try to get hold of a quick rack instead mate, just reduces the amount of turns on the wheel you need to get full lock

but it will make the steering alot heavier!
mind, is a good way of building up a bit of muscle!

take her to little cheff & get a large breakfast
but seriously, its a big job fittin PAS to a non PAS corsa... but its ultimately up to you! You \'might\' be able to source all the parts from a scrappy, or find another corsa with PAS which is cheap to use as a donor or swap bits to/from...

because ive been told that the power steering pump on the valver wont fit into the corsas engine bay and i think there right, as i also own a astra gte 16v which i am breaking and i doesnt look like theres enought room for the pump. that why i thought of the elec version but thats gone tits up so she will have to get down the gym before she starts driving it ha ha ha

i dont find it difficult, only when it comes to turning in a really small space and u have to do like a 500 point turn , but usually its ok and its not that often i get into small spaces , but it would be nice if i could turn my wheel with my little finger
