That's amazing work by hand  but suppose my paints a fair bit older and faded compared to yours  how did it take you? Mine normally takes me 5 hours to a day lol

What's your opinion on snow foam? Is it worth it if it goes on cold?

Faded paint... Hmmm I would do this

Wash and wax, Dry, De tar

G3 cut back compound with a hard mop head on a slow machine polish

Buff with clean dry cloth

Finishing soft head slow mop with turtle wax colour magic blue

Buff with cloth

Polish then buff with cloth then wax and buff with cloth

And snow foam is good stuff although I don't use it personally :).

I quick wash, detar, clay then full wash and towel dry 3-4 coats of autoglym srp then 2-3 coats of megs gold carabuna wax and megs tire gel

Its not faded as such but you know how old paint can just look tired like it's lost its original metallic shine

I polish and wax around every 4-5 week's or if I feel the wax has gone early and wash weekly using two bucket method

I thought about getting some but I can't see it doing much when it goes on a dry car

At least you got the full key, take it to a local locksmith and he can cut you a house key for bout a quid and if you have that broken key close to the barrel it'll work till you get a proper New key cut

Yeah but it means it can be stolen by the useless of criminals

Local locksmith might have the button keys there just make sure you tell him not to copy the chip or it'll cost about 80

You can also buy the key off eBay and get a locksmith to cut it

But surely when I lock my car and move away from it the immobiliser will activate?. :s

Yeah don't need the chip copied just need the blade fixed or duplicated so it fits my barrel.

I've ordered a new one on eBay did it earlier just Gota wait for it.

Not if the chip is taped to the barrel

Yeah just thought I'd tell you because I've seen places telling people the chip can't go into a new key and charge 80-100 quid for a new key

Hopefully it comes soon to get it sorted
