6x9 on parcel shelf and your headunit will have speaker outputs on the rear. Well mine does so hopefully yours does too. Mine has four. Two front two rear.
If yours only has two i.e front left and right you need to splice into them wires to get them to work
Or buy an amp and run from that
And simply remove trim then run wires underneath to keep it looking standard and tidy
Think it would look odd imo just as easy to put them in parcel shelf. If you want your parcel shelf to look stock still you can make a stealth one where you mount them underneath then put fabric over the shelf so you cant see the cut outs for speakers
