Detailing

Post by rsi-dan »

So if you didn't already know I am very OCD when it comes to cleaning the car

so thought id share my car cleaning collection and see what others use

my collection :

Wash - Chemical Guys Mr pink Snow foam then jet wash after
Clay - DoDo juice born slippy lube with Meguiars 200g clay bar
Polish - Auto glym super resin
Pre wax cleaner - DoDo juice lime prime lite or auto glym paint renovator
Glaze - poorboys white diamond
sealant - Auto glym extra gloss protection
Wax - poorboys white diamond paste

that all just for the paint wor using a silverline Rotary polisher

Then the wheels get done spending 2hour each wheel

Chemical guys diablo Gel to wash/clean then
Chemical guys wheel guard wax to seal them and protect from road grime and brake dust

Then I move on to the interior

Seat - auto brite Fab
dash - chemical guys V.R.P Dressing
glass inside and out - Auto glym glass cleaner

Then every other day I give the car a once over with Chemical guys Synthetic Quick Detailer or Poorboys QD+

Now let me see your list of products 8) 8)

Quick wash- big Orange(unsure of brand) by powerwasher

De-tar - autoglym tar remover
Clay- just a clay bar from local place with turtle wax lube

Full wash- green demon shine stuff that smells of apples

Polish - autoglym SRP
Sealant- autoglym extra gloss stuff but very rarly use this as its a pain to buff by hand
Wax- megs carabuna wax

That's my monthly routine all by hand

Then weekly

Wash- another homemade local jobie with carabuna
Wheels- stuff from local place, non branded
Tyres- megs endurance gel
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway
