how low can i go?

how low can u go on 17inch wheels et 45, with std front bumper on. and with out the top of the wheel chatching the bottom of the front arch?

when i had 17\"s on, its was lowered 60mm. the only time it did catch was when i was going quick around corners. to stop this a bought a product called split fire bump stops which sit in between two coils and reduces wheel travell.

u shud b arite to lower 40mm wi offset 45. i have heard some ppl manage to lower 60 mm wi not much scrubbin again wi offset 45. but best bet is 40 mm. if i wa u id go for a set of coilovers so that u can try different hieghts. iv jus orderd me self http://www.potn.com/p1272802.htm well good price.
