Astra coupe bertone :D

Ok little update nothing majour. Went out last night and picked up some bonding agent. A gun and some M6 40mil hex bolts.

Weapons of choice:

So to begin, the drivers side with bolt still intact:
Image

And passenger side with bolt missing:
Image

So bolt bonded on and setting:
Image

So letting it set now and hopefully at some point tomorrow get it fitted, needs 24 hours to go off.

Image

Also got home from work last night to find these had arrived :D
Image

Went and picked up a battery cover last night for £5 off one of the lads from Newport so went out and got it fitted this morning.
Image

One step closer to having my RS vents fitted now :).

Then a trip to Halfrods to and get my calliper paint a mate mixed for me yesterday, Sundance Yellow from the Peugeot 106 GTI:
Image

Image

So just Gota paint them now need to pick up some heat paint now and then paint this over the top, and my GSI bumper needs to be re bonded with something stronger so guna go get some tiger seal because the bolt was flexing around to much :(.

Comments welcome

Ok little update, as you can see from previous pictures and updates I bonded my bumper and today has been 72+ hours so got home from work and got to work.

First of all I removed the front bumper:
Image

Tossed it to one side...as you do...
Image

Had to get the drill out and make some holes for the bolts:

Then set about putting the new bumper on:
Image

looks sweet rite.... BUT....sadly I have a small issue, the bonding is stopping the bumper from siting flush with the wing so I got in contact with the previous owner and he said I need to drill the rivets out and remove the bunker guides. So going to have a look tomorrow.
