Will They fit

Looking around for piston rings as can only find X16XE and Z16SE rings

So will Z16SE rings fit my C16SE or not ????

C16se is a 79 bore and the rings are 1.2/1.5/3

So that kit won't fit

Anyone know were I can get a Ring kit that fits ?

Try local autofactors, I'll get a price from my local engine builder, he won't have them but he'll know were to get them

Waiting on word back from suppliers, said he'd ring back this evening or early tomorrow

He just rang cost 74 euro + postage so around 65-70 pound then 5-10 for postage I'd guess

Is it worth doing them as read that the 16se is bullet proof so thinking of just doing the head high lift cam and get it all cleaned up and painted up

Well if your taking the pistons out anyway it makes sense to do them

But personally I wouldn't unless you can see any obvious signs of wear in the bore

Well There is plenty of compression then turning the engine over

Defo Kent! Many years ago when I was into my sierra's Kent cams were awesome in the pinto engines!!

Kent is top brand atm in cams so I'd go Kent aswell
