Suspension question/advice

Post by WA17ER »

Hey guys,

I'm thinking of re-doing my corsa's suspension in the summer.

I currently have it lowered 40mm on gmax shocks and springs but it sits lower at the front than what it does at the back, so it looks like it's sloping downwards.

I'm wanting it to sit not massively low but level, like this: http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=h ... rQMwJzisAg

What would I need to do/what suspension set-up would I need, to make it like this?

Any help would be wicked!

Many thanks......

60 front and 80 rears and that guy used spax
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

The car in the picture is on the current set-up :

Front spax struts 60mm springs
Rear spax short shockers and 80mm springs

as says I the feature : http://www.fastcar.co.uk/2012/01/26/c20 ... l-corsa-b/

you can either go for that same set-up or coilovers 8)

Right ok, so for that look it's always 60mm for the front and 80mm for the rear then?

For it to go that low, would I have to do any modifications at all? I.e: roll the arches/ cut inner edge of plastic arches.

Any suggestions also for which suspension kit to use?

Regards......

Maybe take the bolts off holding the arches on to stop them ripping into your tyres, mine are held on by tigerseal now.

No wont have to do any mods to the archs unless your wheels are 7J plus wide or have spacers 10mm plus
