What's the best stuff for sticking on number plates with?

What type of plate is it i.e plastic or pressed

I think it would e better to get numberplate surrounds that bolt to the bumpers, then the plates sit in them without showing the bolts

Wouldn't bother with the sticky stuff, I've used it before and lost my front reg plate and got pulled with a fine
best with a surround so you can slot your original plates into there without the screw in place

That's what I was frightened of, last thing I want is for it to come off while driving,

I use them sticky pad things and it's never come off, but the surrounds look better imo
