Does anyone no where the maf sensor is on the 1.2 8v as the eml has not been switch off after thinking it was the egr valve and blanking it off

Well my pollen filter was bad as well lol

Telling me it was johnny lol all changed now tho thank god lol so if i clean it put should fine again ye as read up my error code is saying that has a problem

Doesn't normally take to being cleaned, is it running rough?

No all is running fine its still giving the eml light after i blanked it off i fitted the blank plate and put the egr over the top and re connected it but after so long the eml lights back up so i thort that cud be the cause

Well disconnected the egr connection and the eml stays on permanently reconnect it and the eml light goes out again

Does it stay off?

The light stays off till it hits just over 90 degrees whilst driving then comes back on

I no lol i read up disconnect the battery then disconnect the egr so tried that think i will need to plug it in a code reader to see why its doin it unless the ecu has an error that needs wiping

Yeah I'd get the codes cleared and then see if it still does it

My bro has a code reader he bought off ebay for his passat i will see if it works on mine if so see what the code is and erase it
