My rear speakers arn\'t hooked up at the moment (sold 6x9\'s, audio wire had been cut). Hooking the right side up was simple enough as you can get to the speaker by sliding your hand up after taking the light panel out. The left side is a lil bit harder as the boot light is there, so you can\'t just slide up and get at the speaker. Does anybody know how to get at the speaker? Do you have to take the panel off?
well 2 get 2 my speakers i had 2 , u need a torx 20 or torx 25 key and a hammer the nail pull 2 get the gromets out soon as u un bolt it the speaker is conected 2 the plastic ,plug the wires bak in and put it bak 2 gether sorted!
Yea like Craig said mate its pretty easy there are either three or four grommets covering screws by the boot entrance and then if you tilt the rear seat forwards there are another two screws there as well just be careful you dont drop one into the seat hinge its really awkward to get out!

Cheers guys, was quite a successful DIY session yesterday! Soldered the broken speaker which now works, and realised why my boot didnt central lock with the front of the car- a bolt had fallen off the motor (no idea how lol)
Thats the first time ive seen my rear speakers, does anybody know what power (W) the standard speakers kick out? I have seen a few 10cm Component speakers quite cheap that kick out 100w but if that isnt much of an improvement from the standard speakers i\'l just leave them as they are.
iv got 13cm 3 way pioneer in my rears mate they were only 50 quid ,and they were direct replacement ,they sound sweet as , ithink the standard speakers r 22 watts
