I always heard you just put oil through it and catch it to pour it through again, not a clue how it works myself might read up on it

Re: Betty The Blue Corsa
Mine had abit of mayo on the dipstick when all the oil was drained so i got 3 and a bit litres of diesel and ran the engine for about 30sec then drained that, changed oil filter and filled with new oil and it worked a treat

Re: Betty The Blue Corsa
I've seen some horrible looking oil come out of engines but I've never seen it come out looking all like that, there's normally abit of black oil sitting in it
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Re: Betty The Blue Corsa
All the black oil came out first, the water came flying out at the start and then the mayo coloured gunk came out, horrible stuff haha

Re: Betty The Blue Corsa
rather just let them do it mate, being charged £600+ at most places if you ask me so I'm not complaining with £200Domwhitex wrote:Change the oil and filters yourself? It would drop the price quite abit i'd have thought
