Re: Warren's B project
I'll take a pic tomorrow for ya dom.
I'm sticking with white lol. Been thinking up all sorts of colours but I'm after clean, simple and oem. I think white matches what I'm looking for. Also it's easy to work with
Quick question... Am I right in thinking the 1.6 from a tigra is the same engine as the 1.6 Corsa? An engine conversion is 100% a future plan and I'm summing up my options. The 1.6 16v seems a straight forward swap?

Just snapped a quick pic of the popper. Excuse the green!
The mechanism...
2 wires coming from it go to the positive & negative from the wires from the wiper...

Re: Warren's B project
The tigra engine is the same as the corsa sport engines so to swap you'd only need the loom and possibly an engine mount
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Re: Warren's B project
A little update! Not much has happened in the last month or so, been flat out in work, but managed to buy some goodies for the Corsa.
Picked up a badge less grill and a pair of front lights for £9 on eBay...
I plan to split the lights and smoke them!
I also took a trip to see harkus about some spare bits, ended up with a complete rust free front end from his old Arden blue b.
What it looked like before...
And after...
Just needs prepping now and nearly ready for spraying!
I'm toying with the idea of a recess in the rear bumper for the number plate to sit, has anyone done this before? I'm thinking of a doner bumper with a recess to cut up and fabricate into the original?

How much hard work is a 2.5 v6 conversion? There's an engine going cheap locally that's got me all exited!

Re: Warren's B project
It's a massive amount of work, the whole bay needs seam welded and strengthened and beefy shocks and springs your looking 1-2000 quid right there depending on how where you go and what you use
Then a full New loom and a complete rewire and New mounts New shafts New everything basically
If your after big power a standard c20let can be installed over a weekend, 200hp is more than enough power in a Corsa, your power to weight ratio would be over 200 per tonne

Warren's B project
Cheeky little update, starting to strip the interior out...
I finally got rid of the awful green with some primer
She's now all rust free (there wasn't much anyway!) and ready to be prepped for painting!
Also swapped the Lexus lights for some standard ones. Can't wait till I can get it out on the road now!

Re: Warren's B project
It had to be done I got fed up of looking at it!
I'd love to get it on the road ASAP, but I can't rush it, I want it complete or near enough before i think about getting it on the road!
