Ok... there is speak of another Power Run being done over on CorsaSport, but as yet the location is un-confirmed...
Depending if they take my suggestion of a location (http://www.wgtautodevelopments.co.uk) depends if its a regular RR or not...
So whats the difference between a Rolling Road & a Dynamometer??
Rolling Roads are renound for being \'Un-Reliable\' & over-zeleous with there readings, so in reality usually either read over or under the actual power figure & also affecting factors can be getting traction on the rollers, lift-off when beginning the run, etc, so lots of different things can affect the results.
Dynamometers are different, as they directly attach to the hubs & get a much more accurate reading than rolling-roads, but with the accuracy comes the cost...
Roling Roads for power runs, can cost anything from £20-£40... the Dynamometer at WGT costs £50 per run, so if you are interested, and we do go here, PLEASE make sure your aware of the costs...
I\'m interested to do this, I\'ve had enough of being tld the RR figures I get are complete bull & tbh I wouldnt be suprised if there like 5bhp more than the figures really are, so its about time I ran on one of these to get the true figures...
If you are interested, please post in here & I will let you know if this is where it will be happening, if not then its your call if you want to join in...
It will be happening again in the North West of England, about 25-miles from both Manchester & Liverpool...

drives very well, I kept up with a 2ltr 16v clio sport the other day and was on his ass till about 80 till he started pulling away & then not by that much either...
he caught me in a mcdonalds later on & asked if I had a 2ltr or something & when I said it was only a 1.6 he was quite suprised with it!
I\'m happy enough too, but just thought some people might want to go on one of these dynamamamooglies
