I know this questions probably been answered hundreds of times but i could only find one answer and it didn't explain anything. Is it literally just a case of removing the wiper arm, getting into the back and taking the motor out? I've never removed the wiper motor so that's the only thing putting me off. Just need someone to explain really haha.
Also, is it easy enough to re-install as i'll probably put it back on when i come to sell the car eventually? I've heard a few people say it's an MOT failure too but i'm 99% they're wrong and don't have a clue.
Any help would be great

Re: Dewipering/Removing Rear Wiper
Im 99% sure its not an mot failure as you can blank off rear window. Its as simple as taking off the wiper arm and removing motor which is a 2min job (take off the black cover inside bootlid abd remover motor) then you will need a 24mm grommet which is easily got from halfords or ebay!! Do it mate it makes such a differance! But 24mm seals the boot 100%.

Exactly this! Mixed pack of grommets only like 99p in halfords and looks so much tidier when done. While on topic, anybody colour coded the grommet to the car? iirc Johnny did it? Does the paint stay on ok?stanc3w0rks wrote:Im 99% sure its not an mot failure as you can blank off rear window. Re: Dewipering/Removing Rear Wiper
The rear wiper isn't an mot failure. Its not a requirement to have one on the car for example saloon cars dont have them and mot stations dont tend to test the rear wipers either
If it ain't green and black send it back

Re: Dewipering/Removing Rear Wiper
All done didn't realise it was so easy haha.
The only thing that's bugging me is some of the scratches and paint missing underneath, as it's quite notiecable. Anything I can do to get it out easily?
The green bit is where I used one of those crappy touch up pens just to make it less noticeable as it was white before
Any help would be great
