Hello World :)

Hey guys,
I'm new on here & thought I'd say hi & share a bit

I'm in Perth Australia, but as there's not much of a Barina (Corsa) community over here I thought I'd join up with you guys, hope you don't mind...

I've recently brought a 98 Combo B as a run around for work & to enable me to pull my other car (87 Ford Laser TX3 Awd, same as a 323 Familia GTX) off the road to build it the way I want it instead of just keeping it going as a daily...



But I don't ever seem to be able to leave a vehicle stock, so this one is going to be built to look smart without being overdone & be practical for work at the same time... It lasted all of 2 days before the 13" stockies came off to be replaced by 15's :p


I'll be starting a project thread soon, so keep an eye out in the build forum for full plans and progress updates

Before I go, here are a couple of pics of my other non-Corsa vehicles very different but neither anywhere near stock ... Hope u don't mind :p

I'm loving seeing what you guys do...over here nobody mods Barinas, they are pretty much all relegated to granny shopping trolley duty

Thanks guys, that does look cool unfortunately Tigra Bs are like hens teeth over here & the cost of shipping all the front end panels would be prohibitive

I'd really like to put a set of Morette headlights on... I've always been a sucker for twin lights, as evidenced by the Laser above but at $700 before postage they are going to have to wait a while till all the practical work type mods are done

If any of you hear of a set going 2nd hand that you don't want for yourself, I'd really appreciate a heads up

Well they are alot cheaper over here for morettes but wud probably cost nearly the same to ship them and that's a shame about the tigra b mate and ya build thread looks intresting and cant wait for more progress on it

Maybe we could strike a deal... Reckon u could track down a set of 2nd hand Morette lights, or even a set of the black projectors?

A rough estimate would be around 300AUD plus postage

Could be less could be more since the price of morrettes vary a fair bit

And new angel eyes run at around 130EUR, around 200AUD I think
