Corsa B 1996 1.2 With C12NZ Engine BKR6EK NGK Spark Plugs

Hi

I am replacing the spark plugs in my car, model in title, and the plugs that I removed from the engine are NGK BKR6EK. I have no idea how long these plugs have been in there, but they looked fine. I have looked online and it does not recommend these plugs. I am in two mind sets here about whether to replace them with what came out that look fine or to get the ones recommend. Does anyone know if BKR6EK are actually compatible with my engine model. I know it has done 30000 miles on this model of plug and it's been over 10 years since they were replaced.

I find ngk platinum are a decent choice

Exactly mate the plugs that were in my car were bosch ones and did really rate them tbh

I bought ngk plugs but the socket size is bigger and wont fit down the chutes

That's pants mate personally cant see ngk not making them for the corsa but stranger things can happen lol

Cant remember what size they were but it was the next size up to the ones i was taking out, i obviously got the wrong plugs

All corsa spark plugs are a 16 socket,

The plug part number is written on them so just compare the two

Yeah the ones i got were the next size up, 19 or 21 i guess. Weird thing is that i typed my reg no. Into micksgarage and they came up :/

Nobody had told me they are the wrong plugs so I have gone and replaced them with the same ones that came out. As I said, the car has done 30,000 miles on the old plugs and they have not been replaced in over 10 years because I have never done them until now (I never had the kit).

I can also confirm that it was a 16 hex on the plug and NGK do fit corsas. Even so, the old plugs did not look worn out at all. I think they would have done another 30,000 miles. Good plugs.
