When fitting a new Idle Control Valve, is it just a case of disconnecting the battery (for an hour for the ECU) removing old one and putting new one back in, so is there anything else that needs doing?
cheers

I don't bother disconnection the battery
When you replace it let it idle for awhile, if it doesn't settle the idle speed has to be set via diagnostic kit

If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway
