A lot of company's won't let you have mods till 25. Will be a job finding cheap enough Insurance alone as a new young driver.

Id say all these will affect insurance if you declare them.corsakid97 wrote:ah ok cool cheers guys what about front and rear lights, air filter and window tint and exhaust tips/back box??
Tbh not everyone declares mods, while its not advised it is an option.

Re: 17 and need insurance
Personally to declare colour coded bumpers on my policy (im 18 new driver clean licence) my insurance jumped from £1650 paying monthly to like £11,000 for just colour coding my bumpers its retarded, you won't find somewhere where you will be able to declare mods and have it even remotely feesable to pay :/

Re: 17 and need insurance
Just find the cheapest quote without declaring anything and go from there mate. Don't worry about declaring mods when you haven't even passed yet, just cross that bridge when you get to it.
