Re: Bonnet raisers?
Just take one bolt out of your bonnet and get bolts about half inch to an inch longer. And i used a nut that was to wide to thread on to the bolt as spacers.

Re: Bonnet raisers?
I'd avoid bonnet raisers tbh they just look like you fitted the bonnet wrong
And that crap about realising more heat and getting better power is bollocks tbh, maybe if your running a massive engine in a super fast car but even then you'll have a cold air feed so it won't make a difference either

If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Re: Bonnet raisers?
Its just a look i think it looks cool but i couldnt get the bolts in mine to stay tight and i could see the bonnet wobble while driving so it was well annoying. But if you dont go high enough with it, it does look like its had a crash or something.johnny wrote:I'd avoid bonnet raisers tbh they just look like you fitted the bonnet wrong

Re: Bonnet raisers?
None of those reasons are why I want guys
reason I want them as my coilovers are poking through and hittin the bonnet everytime I hit a speedbump or pothole, I've cut out a triangle but there still touching them, only wanna raise the bonnet to stop this from happening

Re: Bonnet raisers?
Your coilovers should not hit the bonnet mate, the top mount is bolted to the torrent and shouldn't move up and down
You've a bigger problem there mate

This. Your coilovers top mount shouldn't poke through so much that it hits the bonnetjohnny wrote:Your coilovers should not hit the bonnet mate, the top mount is bolted to the torrent and shouldn't move up and down

Re: Bonnet raisers?
They don't move up and down mate, they are locked in but the ends poke through a bit to far than they should do.
