So I've been wondering what is the actual punishment for not declaring mods to the insurance company that you have chosen if anyone could help it would be great

It is an offense to drive a Car without out insurance, so your risking your licence and your car can be impoundedGand wrote:Ah right thanks so it's not actually like an offence or anything? You just won't be covered? Sorry I seem stupid to all you lot but I'm new to this stuff haha

Driving without mods declared is alot worse than people make out, most would have you believe if your caught its a slap on the wrist and you drive on, it's not
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Re: Mods + insurance
To not declare mods wud void ur insurance if ya had a crash and tbh unless it was serious most of the time police wont respond to it unless someone is injured and the police data base only tells them if ur insured mot tax and have a licence
If it ain't green and black send it back

Re: Mods + insurance
This is exactly why i dont declare my mods. They would have a field day on me lol. But if i crash my insurance would be void anyway with a provisional licence and no full licence driver with me and no L plates.andy w wrote:And most never declare cud of the increase to there insurance and risk it with out declaring and ive done it myself and never had any problems
