1.0l Speedo Bulbs
I've done this before in my old car, but it's really throwing me this time, it's 10x more confusing. All I want to do is change the bulbs to blue ones, but I have 4 bulbs, 2 of one type and 2 of another, and there's about 10 bulbs behind the speedo. I don't have a rev counter, so it's just the fiel gauge, speedo and temperature. Cab someone help me figurre it out please haha? Which bulbs go where?

Yeah the rest are things like airbag light, eml, etc. And if the bulbs dont work take them out and turn them around, they only work one way like

Re: 1.0l Speedo Bulbs
Im guessing from the picture it will be the top right bulbs, ( the bigger push in ones)

In that case I've been supplied with the wrong bulbs, they're both far too small to fit into the middle holes, unless I'm doing something wrong? Hahastanc3w0rks wrote:Im guessing from the picture it will be the top right bulbs, ( the bigger push in ones)

Its not the twist in ones, take out the ones from the clocks and the bulb should pull out of the holder

You're a legend, turns out I'm just a retard haha. I thought they'd just slot straight into the hole all sorted now thenstanc3w0rks wrote:Its not the twist in ones, take out the ones from the clocks and the bulb should pull out of the holder

Took me abit of trial and error mate lol. But yeah thats all mine take and i have no rev gauge, just try it in the car before fitting everything back together to make sure they work. If not just take out the bulbs and turn them as they only work one way. Glad i could help you lad

Re: 1.0l Speedo Bulbs
I honestly don't think I'm going to be able to get it back in as I nearly snapped my indicator stalk getting the steering cowling and speedo out haha.stanc3w0rks wrote:Its a ballache full stop, but with extra wires in the way i would go mad

The wires are literally right where I need to be and have no slack, so I can't move them haha

Re: 1.0l Speedo Bulbs
YES! That's the bit I nearly snapped getting out haha, I literally had to rip it out. The wires are strapped around the inside of the top of the speedo surround, so I can't take that out, I have to leave it so there's just enough room to slide the speedo out the side, but it puts the wires under so much tension they feel like they're about to snapstanc3w0rks wrote:That top piece of cowling is my mortal enemy haha.
