Idle problem
Hi,I,m new here so hoping you can help me. I have a corsa b 1.2i 8v,and have been using it for around 5 years now on and off, anyway the other day I started it up and the eml came on and it wouldn't idle. I could keep it going by revving hard but as soon as no throttle it will splutter and die,it will start immediately but revs high and then the revs drop and it dies again. The eml stays off as long as I am revving it hard. The only thing I have done is a coolant drain and flush so not sure if this is relevant. When I started it the other day it was the first time starting for about a month,I hope someone can help, thanks Andy.

Re: Idle problem
Try unplug your maf and start it to see if it makes a difference
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Re: Idle problem
Idle valve would be my only suggestion before taking it to a garage and get it on a code reader
