Hello Everyone.
I need a bit of help I dont know weather to buy a 5 door 1.4l or the 3 door 1.0l ....any suggestions please?

Depends on what engine code the 1.4 is Tbh there's some that only had like 60hp and they worth poo
But on the otherside if you buy the 1.4 it's alot easier to swap engines compared to the 1.0
If it's a long term project I'd say 1.4 but for a runaround that you'll sell in a year's time the 1.0

Plus the 1.0 has more problems as a 1.4 8v

1.4 is probably slower than the 1.0 unless it's a nova engine, the 8v they stuck in the corsa(bar the early Sri) was horrible

I am thinking off puting a saab turbo lump in as my friend had it done to his corsa a few years back

i think im going with the 1.8. He said it was a pretty easy conversion as it uses the cav engine mounts and slots right in ... the only thing he had trouble with was the wiring.

Should be pushing out about 150bhb if i get a 6 speed or about 120-130 with a 5 speed
