Anyone had to have a replacement front windscreen fitted? Quotes from Autoglass etc are horrific!

Had one fitted for 90 quid, always go to a local place

Autoglass are a joke tbh
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

I got a quote from autoglass about a year ago for a fiat bravo .. £250 ... its a joke. Just get a replacement window and ask a garage to replace it for you. Will be well cheaper

If u are insured u can get it done for £70 thru them and to add the windscreens ate bonded in so more than likely it will break attempting it urself some place will put a second hand screen in for less than a new one but most of the time u wont have a guarantee unlike a new one
If it ain't green and black send it back :D
