Not really an update as it's probably going soon, but took the bumper bar off yesterday and bolted and tied the bumper on it's sat where it needs To be now. As for the insurance writing the car off I think it's a bit of a joke.

Needs a bumper bar, bumper, set of headlights and a bonnet and will be good as new.

Picked up a standard set of lights off Jonny last night so they're be going on and my smoked Lexus lights will go up for sale.

I'm meant to be swapping my wheels Saturday morning for a set of SE1 turbo alloys as well:

As far as the insurance claim is going...it's kinda at a dead end at the moment until the police report has been acquired by the insurance company so coupe turbo is on hold for a while until they get there buts in to gear.

Ok so didn't got ahead with the wheel swap, mine we're running on dayle's arches on the back so gutted about that

So as much as I hate the fact it's been hit and still gutted about it I decided to get some tint spray our and do my side repeaters. £1 in What and then put a clear coat on them to protect the tint.

Update insurance wise not Hurd a thing... I'm in two minds of keeping it now, I've been offered a new bumper that's an authentic Reigler bumper and a bumper bar and bonnet for £50.

Ok so little update, insurance wise I've not hire a single thing so I've decided to start putting my car back together but taking a different route.

Had a bumper and bumper off a mate for £25. Not a gsi this time but instead a genuine Rieger bumper, needs a little bit of work has a crack on the bottom and two holes one each side where it's been bolted on. So get that sorted and prepped for paint.

Just need to find out what grills I need for spot lights going to have a halo ring installed though instead of normal spots.

Ive also located a set of turbo wheels for £50. No tyres and need a refurb but can't complain.

Comments welcome. Update to follow.

More progress today, got the rest of the bumper rubbed down and fibre glassed the crack together, so fill it over now and run down ready for primer:

And after the crack on the lower bottom lip on the left had been fibre glassed:

Image

Ok on to the wheels, as you can see from previous pictures they ain't in the best condition so rubbed the two down with out tyres earlier this morning:

Image

And this afternoon one of the front ones:

Image

Rubbed it down then for the tyre off, didn't need to be filled around the edge wasn't to bad so strait on to high build primer primer

Image

Image

Also got the spoiler rubbed down where it's been fibre glassed with a layer of primer will finish up ready for paint, plus finish the other wheels and bumper, no pics of it sorry but... Please as normal Comments welcome :).
