Re: 1 Liter 5 Door Project
remembered why my modding always get delayed today, because im always broke and when i do have money, a fair bit has to go into fixing my 1 liter engine. fuel filter was cheap though and that did need replacing, its just about time i did something about the electrical fault in the engine light. taking the bulb out is seeming more preferable to my bank account though.

Re: 1 Liter 5 Door Project
So i started out with my new bonnet and sanded some key areas then filled any holes and then spent about 6 and a half hours sanding the filler i put in to get it as smooth as possible
as you can see i put a lot of work into sanding
then the first coat went on in gloss black but i still wasn't completely satisfied with the sanding so i went a and sanded it some more and i believe this was about the 3rd coat of gloss black was wet here and looked amazing
this was the final coat of gloss black before i started lacquer
then the finished bonnet

Re: 1 Liter 5 Door Project
I didn't think I'd like it tbh, but it's oddly subtle to be fair and suits the car. Love black bonnets!
I expect you're going to make that vent worth something and put your cold air feed through it?

So I've fitted central locking and then the remote central locking unit, that was seriously hard work :p
