Removing front seats
Right guys, what do I need and how?
need to remove my front seats out the car to put my new ones in, won't be yet but just want to know what I'll need and how to remove them to make it a hell of a lot quicker when it comes to it..
I need to leave the subframes in of case because these seats only come with the runner that locks your seat into place when moving it back and forward, picture of what I mean attached.
Sent from my mind.

Re: Removing front seats
2x torx bolts at the back of the runners remove them and push the seat and runner forward off the 2 hooks that hold the front down job done

Re: Removing front seats
Make sure you put the pretensioner tab in place so it doesn't go off when removing bolts. I advise buying a decent torx driver to remove the bolts. Also a good spray with plusgas the night before to free them. To undo if tight 3/4 turn undo 1/2 turn tighten and work them out slow. Also easier to remove whole seat with subframe and swap subframe out car. Sounds a lot to do but in reality s seat swap should take no more than a couple of hours with thd right tools. Loads of howtos. Just google

Re: Removing front seats
U can do a seat swap with the rails still in the car but like diggerhole says its easier to do swapping rails off the car as i did my seat swap with the rails still in the car and took ages to do
If it ain't green and black send it back

Re: Removing front seats
do the rails I've got my seats replace the standard runners then I'm guessing mate? just wanna know for time and effort so I'm not stressing over it also need to get my seatbelt on there as well so how do I do this? because my harnesses don't arrive till next week and I can't risk driving round without seat belts haha!andy w wrote:U can do a seat swap with the rails still in the car but like diggerhole says its easier to do swapping rails off the car as i did my seat swap with the rails still in the car and took ages to do

Re: Removing front seats
They are gonna be a challange. You will need to adapt the sub frames
