FINALLY I've drilled my airbox and not gonna lie I'm pretty impressed with the result... Nice low pitched bellow when you give it some!!

This was something Iv been meaning to try. Notice any difference? Might give it a go when I get an astra.

Your better off derestrict it and fit a panel filter as with a drilled air box you don't get much if any performance all you get us the induction sound

The only thing I've noticed at the moment is the induction noise as I haven't drove it yet after I had done it but I definitely recommend doing it. Sounds a lot better.
