New Car Suggestions

Post by JamesT0708 »

As some of you might have seen, i'm selling my car after having it for just under 2 months  it wasn't my cup of tea at all. I've come to realise that me and modern cars just don't get on, I hate pretty much everything about them. Mostly the PAS, everything being electrical and being 10x harder to work on and this one in particular being so unreliable.

So now i'm after something older, easier to work on, and smaller than a 1.4 because filling it up with £40 every week was half the problem. I'm open to any suggestions really, so fire away! :D

The only 1.4 I'd suggest is a yaris t sport but I think there ugly tbh

The 1.0 corsa is faster than most 1.4s purely due to the weight of them even an ek era 1.4 civic won't pull away from a 1.0 corsa and an ek civic isn't an overly heavy car compared to an ep civic
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

I'm not that bothered about speed tbh anymore. I just want something cheap to run and easy to work on. I just dont know if I want another Corsa or something different

I don't want anything like that anyway, just something old and easy to work on

Highly considering getting another B, I miss it too much. Found one round the corner from me with 80k miles, T&T till late this year with 1 MOT advisory for £250. Seems too good to miss. The bodywork's going to be s**t but i'm expecting that and it'll be good to have a bit of a run down project. We'll see what happens...

Sorry to bring up such an old thread but I finally managed to sell my car if he pulls through and buys it on saturday, so now i'm in need of suggestions for a new one!

The only problem i'm facing is the fact i'm off to uni in Chester end of September and a lot of people think i'd be better off just not getting a new car at all. I get free parking and everything, but does anyone on here go to uni with or without a car that could give me some advice or anything, would appreciate it!

Ok, i've narrowed it down to a Micra or another B. I'm sure no-one on here is biased in the slightest [EYES] but i'll probably just go for the first one I find that ticks all the boxes
