Corsa b power problem
I have the 1.0 12v corsa b, I have the problem of when coming up to steep hills or reaching 50 MPH the car loses power and starts juddering, the engine management light comes on briefly and goes off when the revs are lowered. I had the diagnostics machine on at the garage and it said it was the lamba senspr, got one from a scrapyard and still saying the same thing. Any ideas on what it could be?

What was the trouble code
I would try cleaning your egr valve

Re: Corsa b power problem
Egr is the most likely but I've seen dud idle valves cause the same problem
Easiest way to check is go out and start the car and let it idle for 2 mins and if the EML comes on its the idle valve if not egr

If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Can't remember the fault code. Thanks for your help? It did say on the diagnostics machine that the EGR was inactive so I take it that it would be full of crap? If so would obviously have to be cleaned soon due to the solenoid.

It will be full of carbon build up
Give it a good clean with carb cleaner
