De badging, the proper way?

On my last 2 cars, I ripped them off and used a scourer for the glue. Want to do it proper this time.
Thinking using a heat gun and fishing wire for the badge, what's the best for the adhesive? Glue remover? Toffee wheel?

Just be careful with a heat gun mate. It heats up really quick so if you leave it there too long it'll screw the paint up. I'd say toffee wheel for the glue

Get a plastic spreader to get behind the badges. Use tar and glue remover to get rid of residue. Then give the area a good going over with compound. Don't use a toffee wheel unless you are used to them

Let the glue remover soak in for a while. It will go like snot, then use the spreader to lift the worst of it off.

And I imagine there won't be as much colour difference as the Corsa, had vauxhall Corsa in bright red and the rest of the car pink!

I think Halfords do it, not sure how much but I think they're alternative is called 'Sticky Stuff Remover'

Hahaha I learnt from my mistake and the rest of it looks good, just need some of that remover stuff and it should be all good nice one mate
