No power on the ignition coil

Post by 8broda8 »

Hello. My car is a bit messing about last time. It starts but after few minutes is gone and don't want to start again. Have changed spark plugs and ignition coil pack as well but still stop working. I've checked using a meter and there is no power on ignition coil. What is very weird sometimes there is a power and car working normally. Please can anyone have idea what that can be?
Thanks

Have you got dash lights
If it's starting sometimes when it's running is your eml on
It could be a faulty sensor ecu or a break in a wire

Sounds like it could be ecu or the feed to it

I would also check the connection at the eml bulb as on this system the ecu will not work if the bulb is not working as it completes the circuit

ok! found it. I have clean all connections on ecu (using WD40 - miracle). And car was working fine about 20 minutes! And do not start again until cold. Is that mean the ecu need replace? Why messing about when hot?

Don't know why it won't work but I'll fix it when I'm home
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway
