50% conversion rate on Corsa-B so why not ring us?!

Post by Tim-Prestige »

Why?!!!

On this forum ,we’ve just produced stats from January last year until now & only 2 people have rung us for a quote from on here of which 1 of them took out the policy with us.

That’s a 1 in 2 conversion rate!!!!

My question is – why don’t others give us a ring to try us out when their car insurance is due (especially considering we have a special scheme for the users of car forums!)?

Can you reply on here please?

With kind regards
Tim

It's to do with your age requirement most members are first/second year drivers
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Sorry I agree with johnny on this one most members on here are at a under 21 age group and it is crippling to them on the price they get quoted and most dont change who they are with because the deposit would be high so its easier for them to to have no deposit and higher monthly payments
If it ain't green and black send it back :D

This exactly my deposit this year was 285 quid, admittedly I opted for higher premium for lower monthly rate

But I'd still wager that andys policy is lower than my deposit

Obviously we all know this is how insurance companies work, the young pay more so the older get bigger discounts, none of us will complain when the roles reverse

I do have a question for you Tim, how come I can insure a 10 grand twin turbo rwd sports car as cheap or cheaper than I can insure a 1.2 corsa? It baffles the mind tbh

More chance of you crashing it so they can rip you off with the next years premium [EYES]

But if i had that car I'd know that I couldn't afford to claim so I'd take it as a loss sell what I could and scrap the rest, so they'd get no claim

I will never understand how they work tbh mate. A lot of the time when you're taking out a new policy, you're premium will become cheaper and cheaper as the week goes on, so on Monday it may be say £1500 and by Sunday it might be half of that. Would love to know what that's all about

Hi Johnny
Generally it's the grouping of cars which is the main factor in pricing based on the vehicle you own so I can't understand how this has happened with you!
