Adjustable steering column

Anyone ever tried to put one of these in a a b?
Had a look at pics of the vectra b adjustable column and looks similar to the b..
I'm guessin it might be too long though? Corsa cowl won't fit so will need modifying/holes cutting into it

I've never heard or seen it be done tbh can't really see the the point of it either tbh, do you want it to go up or down?

My wheel is too high for my liking.

I want it to raise a little, my legs are long so I feel like I'm quite raked out when I'm holding the wheel sometimes, so I'm hoping if I can raise it up and change the position there will be space for my legs and be a little more comfortable.
Just another gadget to play with I s'pose.. Wondered if it had ever been done. If I decide to grab a steering column from
a vec and go ahead with it I'll put some pics up

I would strongly advise you not to try this in your daily driver because if it doesn't work your then without a motor

Oh no I won't be trying it until a time when I can have the car off the road and can tinker away. Thanks for the advice though
