Re: Corsa Sting C20LET
Well... The motor is all built. Just need to dress it now.
I'm well happy with it.
Also had the powder coat machined off the lettering on the plug covers. I've got a few choices to play with

Re: Corsa Sting C20LET
It's getting close you must be getting anxious to get it finished now
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Re: Corsa Sting C20LET
Cheers lads.
Been chocca with work this year but I managed to get a few days in the garage this week and dusted off some car parts and got some bits done bits.
Main wiring started for strip.
I've set out to fit the cooler and rad correctly with some home made brackets and a bit polish before I send the brace off for powder coating. Have to wait on boost pipes from Roose to start to cut the bumper.
Got the glass fitted.
Fans fitted.

I've just been sent this from my local hydro dipping guy. It's the closest to a Carbon look in a dip that I've found. I think he's very good.

Re: Corsa Sting C20LET
cheers mate.
A couple of pics have been missed from the post previous.
I got the sump back from the powder coaters so I fitted that.
I was getting carried away with new bits so I fitted the sandwich plate.
I've also started with the wiring. The connection block in the passenger footwell needed a trim and all the wiring had to be made off into one side of the connection block to clear the cage.
Rear lighting loom done and wrapped in tessa tape.
I sprayed the coil bracket and put the coil in and tightened it up.
New reg light.
Fitted my new poo guards with new clips.
Also offered my new K26 hybrid up to measure and drill the holes in my new carbon heat shield. I just need to put foil tape on the back of the shield and it's all good.
That's all for now.
