Tie Bar Bushes

Tie Bar Bushes

Iv'e bought some powerflex tie bar bushes, could anyone give me some advice on how to remove the old bushes ? cheers :)

You can just Burn them out, or if you get a clamp and some pipe you can press them out

Burning them is easier
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway :thumbs:

So just some petrol and a lighter ?

Blow torch is the best job but petrol should do the same job :)
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway :thumbs:

Tell us how it goes i have never tried petrol always used a blow torch

It's basically the same, you just need enough petrol to melt the rubber and get it burning itself

You'll need a thin wire brush or file to clean any rubber that doesn't fall out
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway :thumbs:
