Re: ripspeed dvd player
If you got it new you should have to prongs that slide down the sides to release the metal cage it will then slide off don't cut it as you will need this too unit it in

Re: ripspeed dvd player
Its probably all the wirws bunched up in the back causing it to sit so far out, its really fiddly trying to keep them out of the way while puahing the head unit in.

If its a wire issue with this problem ya got then i agree with stance mate my stereo did stick out cus of the blocks and i had to feed the wires into place first then connect the stereo also unscrew the ash tray so ya can get ur hands behind the stereo aswell
If it ain't green and black send it back

Pretty sure that the bolt in back of radio is supposed to go into the bar and act as an earth.andy w wrote:Ye mate that the one i hit it further bak as my stereo hit that so when done it shud give u a few more mm play room also if the bak of the stereo has a pin in the bak unbolt it aswell as that stopped mine

Think it is but i never had any issues with it and the corsa has a earth wire on the harness so the aint no need for it tbh but that was the way i got my stereo to fit with no issues

Re: ripspeed dvd player
Didn't know they had an earth wire. I had problems with my head unit cutting out whenever i hit a bump, but i sorted it by running a bit of speaker wire from the back of the headunit to an earth.andy w wrote:Think it is but i never had any issues with it and the corsa has a earth wire on the harness so the aint no need for it tbh but that was the way i got my stereo to fit with no issues
