that bonnet looks unreal mate, really suits it paint looks top quality, im in Newcastle your close by. Theres a couple of calibras with redtops and leathers still in, being sold as the whole car as runners on www.swapz.co.uk think you would get one for less than 800 be cheaper then at least you could salvage the interior and engine :meh: then weigh the shell in to recoup some cash

ahh yeah that's some distance like lol. can of satin black aerosol should do the job just as much.

I found that when I did my first valver I saved so much money, bought a calibre for 700 used all the running gear and loom, interior etc weighed it in, stood me 525 for interior and full redtop conversion! ask santa for the cash lol

the colour is unreal ive only ever seen one more in this standard colour looks good. I wouldn't mind your bonnet tbh though with some depo's or morettes, with a tiny bit of modding you can get some nice Vectra leathers in there which are just as comfy but much cheaper

did you just get bonnet off ebay? how much? I really want a badboy bonnet like this with some nice depos or morrettes but im not paying £200 for used morettes, I know their rare now for a b or any car really but im not paying that, sure they wernt even that much new! looks like im gunna have to fabricate the bonnet myself though one weekend their just as hard to find, you've had some good luck finding a minter like that!, you still planning on gloss blacking the black plastic?

i bought the bonnet off someone locally for £70, more than id of paid off ebay but i didnt have to travel or get courier so was happy to pay more and it cost £150 to get painted.. so in total the bonnet stands me in for £220. Gloss black is still the plan for trims :).
