Without getting to scientific about it blue light has an effect on your eyes at night time, a blue light reduces your sight at night were red doesn't, it's why when you see tanks and military vehicles they all have red interior lights so when they get out there eyes don't have to re adapt, same reason blue lights/hids get flashed at so much, when blue light hits your eyes your actually blinded for a second(ish)

The heater bulbs and dash bulbs don't have to go with a colour scheme anyway since the only time you see them you can't notice what colour the dash is

While light of any kind can suppress the secretion of melatonin, blue light does so more powerfully. Harvard researchers and their colleagues conducted an experiment comparing the effects of 6.5 hours of exposure to blue light to exposure to green light of comparable brightness. The blue light suppressed melatonin for about twice as long as the green light and shifted circadian rhythms by twice as much (3 hours vs. 1.5 hours).

What you can do

Use dim red lights for night lights. Red light has the least power to shift circadian rhythm and suppress melatonin.

There you go there 625A batteries if you want to look elsewhere, but I'd advise sticking to duracel so it'll last longer (much longer .)

Blue headlights are a pain in the ar5e. Even with my elevated driving position I'm always blinded by damn M5's with their blue headlights around my route. There is one with yellow lights, like some sort of French cruiser throwback, but doesn't hurt your eyes at all, and gives hardly any 'glow' or 'halos' unlike blue/sharp white.

She scrapes hard to be fair... And i live in the country side.. Never good went in a lil pot hole earlier... Taking it to a garage to get it checked over it isnt on the road yet but police never come round my area... So all good.. But man all i could hear was scaping and my tyres hitting the arches... Tempted to put some big ole spacers on and camper them out a lil..

Got a bigg problem with the new blue b... I put my foot down hard the other day and it torque stired hard to the left... What could be causing this? My mate who owned it before me put all an exhaust system done by professionals same as coilvers and wheels and deristricted airbox.. And he put a new chip in the car... :S so would it be it has too much power for the car? Even thou its only a 1.2.. Know it probably sounds stupid...

It's definitely not torque steer, I'd bet my life on that

I'd imagine it's a suspension problem, either cheap coilovers or bad tracking, the work wasn't done by "professionals" in a "performance" garage was it? Because them guys generally know jack poo and should be working in Halfords fitting wiper blades

I'd get it laser aligned first of, will cost about 40-50 quid but it's worth it because it measures everything, caster, camber, toe in, toe out

If it's a proper garage they'll know what to look for when you explain what's happening, don't mention torque steer though
