Corsa b 1.4 8v SRI engine
Having a look for one of these engines (85bhp 1.4 8v model) I know there is an spi engine and don't want that one does anyone know the engine code? And the visible differences between the two? To stop anyone unscrupulous rinsing me for a diff engine
I've got a feeling this engine will be rare as rocking horse sh*t now as it old.
Any help appreciated, thanks

My brother has a 1.2 8v in red and in slightly better nick than mine (dent in passenger wing, but if fading on bonnet and been keyed a little down the side) will be much easier to tidy up and his gf is giving him her car soon as he seems to want to run his till it's dead so that is gonna be my project car to turn into an sri repmbonner02 wrote:Mate that ain't enough ponies to do with! Too much gsi's about though.. The sri is rarer I think. And I actually like it too. Will be a very simple mod really nothing too much just the new bumper, clean paint work and new interior. Probably put a headlighy beeper on to remind me, alarm/central locking, elec window and heated elec mirrors kit I made that is on my car, elec sunroof and my stealth Shelf (that I've not finished yet) and the variable wiper. I've also got plans for radio controls on the stalks too but there still more electronics and CBs to be created for that yet..
I can get this apart on the drive you see clean all the rush away and what have you, rust proof the lot, replace nakered bushes n that sort of thing
I'll probably put sport calipers and discs on but everything else will be period and standard apart from the radio controls and the headunit/speakers..
Sometimes feel like am walkin up the down escalator with my car so will be nice for a fresh start haha

How do you fit a headlight beeper? That sort of thing should be standard in every car.
