Which rubber is split? If it's a bush it'll need replaced else the handling will be horrendous. If it's one of them rubber covers on struts it will defiantly need doing before going on coz all the poo off road etc will get into it and wreck it. To check if there's any oil take the springs off and compress the shock and when you pull it back out there should be some resistance

Need them replaced before they go on mate. If not all the dust gets in them off the road and will absolutely f**k the internals

I didn't even use dust covers on my coilovers [emoji38]
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Yea i just tried to have a look on ebay and cant seem to buy replacements and i cant be arsed going to a scrap yard.
had a look on youtube and everything looks easy to do. no need for a coil compresor. just drop the rear axel and put the new shocks and springs in
and same for the front remove the bolts and direct fit the coilovers

Getting mad brake sequel from the car after replacing the pads. so gona get a move on with the big brake calipers i think get them refurbed and fresh painted.
might pick up some brake grease and fix the sequel in the mean time.
