I removed aircon bits on my sport today as its never worked even after been regassed,
So condensors gone including cooling fan riveted to it and pipework under bonnet, just compressor to do under bonnet when i get a shorter belt (already got non aircon engine mount),
Just wondering which cooling fan should kick in first as never really taken much notice, after taking it for a drive after i removed aircon i left it idling and temp gauge got just over 100'c and fan didn't kick in, usually temp gauge drops again when it reachs 100'c but never notice which fan has been kicking in and actually cooling engine,
I left both sensors on rad plugged in,
I unplugged rad fan and there is no 12v live to fan with the ignition on,
Im guessing there should be and it will be earth switched through temp sensor on rad or am i just taking rubbish??
Which cooling fan works first??

Sorted i didn't let it run for long enough,
It cuts rear fan in around 103'C so i can live with that until i get some rad clamps things for original aircon fan so i can mount it on front of engine rad now all aircon stuffs gone

Not sure what u want as I can't say I've done it but if you want to clamp it to the rad itself High temp resistant cable ties fed between the fines work a treat. A little washwr to protect the fins and your awayVolvomeg wrote:Sorted i didn't let it run for long enough,
