Haven't updated this in a while, got a few things to update now :)

First of all the top part of the grab handle needed sorting out, when i originally put the chrome handles on i had to file down part of the handle plastic to prevent the chrome handle catching. This worked great as it doesn't catch whatsoever now but it did leave marks from being filled down. So today decided i was going to sand them down to get rid of the marks and paint them, didn't want to do them blue again like i did before as they looked tacky so decided i'd do them gloss black to keep it subtle.

Primer

Image

First coat

Image

After another coat and a couple coats of lacquer

Then primed and painted the other one, i only managed to do one coat though as i ran out of paint.

few pics of the one with lacquer vs one without

Image

Image

next up was sorting the driver side chrome handle, due to changing it like an animal the first time it suffered from some damage  :0

Luckily i bought a set of four so had one spare for each side, so set about getting that changed over.

off it came

Image

said damage, also had some scratching on the face

Image

new, un-damaged one

Image

and onto the Corsa backing plate

Image

back together

Image

by this time due to the nice weather, the handle had dried enough to put back on

Image

Image

Not that much different, but looks much better to me.

Then got a bit more done.

heres a better photo of newly sprayed handle

Image

then took the centre console off

Image

put everything else back so i can still use it

Image

after a VERY long time rubbing down i finally got all the texture smoothed off

Image

and primed

Image

The painted, Went with Anthracite as Its a nice contrast to the black :)

Photo before lacquer

Image

replaced the heater bulbs before putting it all back as old ones stopped working

Image

Image

then got the centre console lacquered and finished and put it all back

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

then finished the passenger door handle after getting some more Paint

What sort of paint are you using for the roof lining. It's something I always wanted to do but never got round to it

Happy with how its come out, not sure what i'll be doing with the sun visors either leave them get them flocked or find some already black ones from another car... didnt want to spray them as i thought it would come out poo and actually quite like them cream tbh nice contract against the black :)

Cheers :)

Seats don't stay like that , just put them like that as they where getting in the way of the pillars in the photos in the normal position.

Cleaned the inside and out of car and have raised the exhaust to stop it hitting the rear axle, which was getting very annoying.

before

Image

Image

After being raised up

Image

Image

Video of it starting up and revving with no knocking :)

The decided i was going to put the de-badged grill back on last night, have also had some peanut butter on the bumper tops and arches this morning :)

Looks sick. How did you raise the exhaust? My standard exhaust is hitting the axle so think the rubbers are f**ked.
